Why SwiftFileTool exists

Different devices and applications do not always support the same file formats. A photo captured on a recent phone can be perfectly usable on one device and difficult to open or upload on another. SwiftFileTool was created to provide straightforward browser-based tools for those situations.

Our approach

We aim to keep each tool focused: explain what the format is, explain why someone might convert it, provide the conversion interface, and clearly describe how the selected file is handled.

Browser-first processing

The HEIC conversion tools are designed to process the selected image in the user's browser. This can reduce the need to upload personal images to a remote conversion server. The exact behavior of a browser can still depend on the device, browser extensions, and resources loaded by the page, so please review the Privacy Policy before using the service for sensitive material.
